Catalog #'s 1-7 are woven by Mary Frame, who was inspired by Anne's
experiments and has pursued the collapse technique in her research.

 1      Shawl, white mohair stripes of mixed Z handspun and     18" x 106"
          very fine S plied silk(?), thin black looped 
          mohair stripes in warp and a few in weft, very fine 
          white mohair(?) S plied weft
           
 2      Sample, white Z handspun singles mohair with fine       11" x 112"
          brown S plied warp stripes; very fine S plied silk 
          or synthetic weft; one fringe end, one cut end

 3      Sample, knitted, white mohair singles, bands of S and    4" x 4"
          Z spun, causing strong tilt left & right; final band
          is two extremely fine strands of single ply thread    

 4      Sample, white mohair S singles juxtaposed with thin     12" x 13" 
          overtwisted Z plied wool warps; weft is Z singles, 
          upper half weft beaten looser than lower half 

 5      Scarf, white mohair singles, Z spun                      7" x 54"

 6      Sample, mohair stripes of beige Z handspun, thin        13" x 25"
          S plied, and black looped 2-ply handspun; weft   
          is thin S plied beige wool 
              
 7      Sample, white mohair, lower half warp only               9" x 10"
          overspun, upper half, both warp and weft
          overspun; more exagerated than #4

The following are Anne's samples, working out the "Ace Bandage", a Peruvian
elastic crepe piece she found in the De Young Museum in the early 60's.

 8      Sample, merino wool singles, tabby weave, left half     10" x 52" 
          Z warp and weft, right half S warp and Z weft; more
          "creped" in left half, showing "hen tracks"
 
 9     "Ace bandage" copy, white alpaca singles, S & Z           9" x 36"
          alternating warps, Z wefts, all overspun 3 times    

10      2 Samples, merino wool, Peruvian crepe
